A: My sister had success with OnPoint Nutrition. I was lost on what to do to lose all the weight I’d gained over the past few years. I reached a point where I was not happy or comfortable in my own skin so I decided to make a change and reached out and invested in counseling.
A: I am more confident, happier and now truly love myself. I learned I am a lot stronger both physically and mentally than I thought I was. I was able to overcome negative thoughts I’ve had about myself and turn them into positive thoughts.
I work as a night shift nurse which results in a pretty grueling schedule. My energy levels have improved and getting through my shifts has progressively become easier. I am wanting to work out more to go along with eating right. I still have a long way to go but I'm definitely going in the right direction. I am wanting to lose more weight and keep hitting my nutrition goals.
A: Mentally telling myself I could do it. Getting myself to the gym on the days I was tired from working overnight was tough. I kept telling myself that it’s 1 hour of my day and I can rest later, plus I’d feel better once I went. I’m proud that I’ve gone to the gym as much as I have despite my weird schedule. I was able to run a 5k which I did not think I’d be able to do. I’m proud of how far I’ve come physically and mentally.
I’m a nurse that has a weird work schedule 7 pm-7:30 am, 3 nights per week. Sometimes the work nights are together, sometimes they’re spread out so it was hard to find a routine that worked. It has definitely been a struggle trying to juggle working, eating right, and working out but Ivy has helped me through figuring it all out.
A: Definitely do it! It’s a healthy way to lose weight. It’s not a “diet” where you’re more likely to cheat and go back to unhealthy ways, it’s a lifestyle. They work around your lifestyle so you’re still able to go out and do things you enjoy without feeling guilty or deprived.
